MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Any working media member who wishes to be on the field or in the press box at any WFISD Athletics venue must have a valid WFISD Athletics-issued media credential.

This includes:
• Joe Golding Field at Memorial Stadium
• Legacy High School
• Memorial High School

If your credential request has been denied, you may not access the field or designated press areas for any reason before, during or after the game.

WFISD Athletics will follow UIL state tournament media guidelines when reviewing and approving credential requests. For reference, please review the UIL Media Policy: https://www.uiltexas.org/media/general-media-policy

Independent media outlets are subject to WFISD background check procedures as part of the credential approval process.


To request media credentials for a WFISD hosted sporting event, please email Chad Johnson.

Please include:

  • Name
  • Cell Phone
  • Media Outlet
  • Field Access or Press Box Access (for football)
  • Game Attending (or request a season pass)
  • School Covering

Wichita Falls ISD Media and Photo Guidelines:

  • Any person on the sideline with a camera of any type must have an official Wichita Falls ISD Athletics-Media credential.
  • Credentials will only be issued to recognized members of the media.
  • Social Media outlets will not be granted media credentials.
  • Wichita Falls ISD reserves the right to remove the holder of any sideline/pressbox privileges and/or premises at any time.
  • All media credentials must be visible at all times
  • All media members must remain out of restricted areas (i.e., players team box)
  • All media members should refrain from communicating with players, coaches, and officials.
  • All approved media members must pay attention to the athletes in the field of play at all times.
  • Any lost passes will not be re-issued.
  • No FLASH photography
  • Requests for passes need to be submitted on the Wichita Falls ISD Athletic website no later than 5pm the day before the game, or the request may not be honored.
